Yellowstone Supervolcano… The Greatest Hidden Discovery

There is no safe place on earth when nature takes its great revenge. Armoring man against the movement of nature’s calamities is of great important to avoid too much damage and further loss of lives. It is important to make oneself aware of the event in the power of nature to affect man’s life especially when it comes to disaster-related events. Your eagerness as a man being concern about a certain phenomenon is like you will never sleep when enthusiasm awakens you seem you never want to sleep but when you are awaken while asleep enthusiasm will never succeed. It becomes a great reason for anyone to know the real scenario and proper precautions with intensive preparedness when it comes to earthquakes, tsunamis, tornadoes and other natural or man-made calamities.

Latest updates in Yellow Supervolcano leads men to get the best options of getting the right information and shield himself of better things to do when it erupts or show dangerous movements. The 2011 updates from researchers and some geologists stated that super-volcano located in Wyoming rising based on the recorded data since last 2004. The super volcano floor continue to increase 3 inches every year in accordance to the data shown for the previous years with the quickest rate ever recorded starting in 1923.

You can think for the basic reason that a 10, 000 years old glacier all of a sudden melted and relate it too in the most latest news on the previous news of Haiti earthquake last 2010 of January along with some 1620 small temblors within 17th of January 2010 to the 1st day of February 2010 swarming the second greatest data ever enlisted in the Yellowstone Caldera. The biggest of these aftershocks was a 3.8 magnitude on the 21st January 2010.

This swarm stretched on background levels of February 2010 and it was further noted that in 2009, more than 500 earthquakes event happened at Yellowstone in the remaining week of such year. More earthquake incidents happened during the previous years that awaken the Yellowstone super volcano. Geologist Christopher C. Sanders posted on January 1, 2009 that he is giving an advice to all officials of the State near surrounding the Yellowstone Nation Park on its great potential to create a State of Emergency because there were 252 earthquakes in last week which were all observed and recorded under USGS. There was a 3D view of the rising magma movement in the surface which is a pre-warning signs of the major eruption of Supervolcano. Thus he mentioned that he wanted everybody to leave the place and those who are 200 miles away around the volcano caldera.

The ESA satellite also revealed the discoveries they found in Yellowstone Caldera. Recently, molten rock moves about 15 km from the surface of the earth and USGS scientists along with Charles Wicks, Wayne Thatcher use the Synthetic Aperture Radar Interferometry or InSAR located the changes and drawn its movement in the northern rim of caldera region. The record noted that portion of the Supervolcano rise 13 cm starting from the data gathered on 1997 to 2003. InSAR is the most innovative version of the “spot the difference” includes the combination of the different mathematical radar images in acquisition to the nearest possibility of pointing into the space at several times to make a digital elevate models revealing many undetectable changes which occur between those acquired images.

ESA satellite also showed several facts about the real event happening in the Yellowstone Caldera. The unhidden fact showed that this supervolcano is getting restless posing signs that it will erupt. Its mobility of the rising magma is very visible signifying the pre-eruption signs. The research supports this idea as shown on the data gathered as well as those which are visible in the images of the Supervolcano. Moreover, in the onset of 2004, scientists noted the ground elevation at the height of 7 cm (2.8 inch.). Annually and it only lower its rising level in 2007 and 2010. Yet it continues to swell and its ground over the area of the volcano raised about 25 cm.(10inch.). This is very unusual as it covers the biggest area with a high rate as told by Utah expert in Yellowstone volcanism, Bob Smith. Actually, Yellowstone is the 1st National Park in the World. Some geologists and scientists believed that swelling is due to the magma reservoir which is 7 to 10 km from the earth’s surface that drives towards the upper part to uplift and this event based on some opinion will not herald to lead the greatest catastrophe. The scientists further continue to monitor the rise and fall of the Yellow Caldera magma movement.

When eruption of this supervolcano will happen, people must know what to do before, during and after earthquake attack. It is the only way that man can survive against it. Once everyone knows how to protect themselves and save their lives on supervolcano eruption, then it becomes their tool to continue their existence here on earth. Preparedness, risk reduction and management make men well armored from natural calamities and destructions. This is something anyone must consider that no matter how big or small earthquakes from simple volcanic eruption to supervolcanic destructions will make them successfully triumph over nature’s untoward twists of events like when Yellow Caldera supervolcano erupts in U.S.

Tips for all the people who are on the area of Yellow Supervolcano, they must take vigilance and prepare for any changes and signs of its volcanic activity. People residing on the place should know the basic things when earthquake happens and must take the biggest initiative to do the right thing with presence of mind even if such supervolcano will or not make its greatest blow. This is the only way people can at least get the peace of mind through understanding the nature of such event and conquering it. Man has the greatest edge with the advent of technologies and innovative methods to overcome any calamity or disastrous event so man is still the best steward still to continue the human race.

Greatest Life Sweeping Earthquakes of 2010

No place to go, no place to hide. This is the exact scenario when the Mother Nature rebels against the evil works of human beings in the form of calamities and natural disasters like an earthquake, eruption of volcanoes and supervolcanoes, flashfloods, tsunamis and tornadoes. Taking a chance on surviving on these great catastrophic situations surely rare and lucky for those who become survivors yet its effect is life tormenting and great sorrow for the loss of love ones and properties. Earth and the people of today are facing the great test of faith and strength to exist and live on these threats even if it takes a huge shield and initiatives to handle and manage all these true to life events that no one wants to experience the impact of tragedy. Just like the event on the upper top 10 greatest earthquake of 2010 that affected Haiti, Chile, China, Sumatra of Indonesia, Turkey, Papua of Indonesia, Baja California of Mexico, Taiwan, New Zealand and Japan.

A magnitude of 7.0 earthquake struck Haiti on January 12 which killed approximately 230, 000 people and affected millions of others who survived, among were 300, 000 injured that included 4, 000 people who got amputated on that event. The Haiti Government reported the sad accounts on that devastation that 1,000, 000 were homeless, 30, 000 buildings collapsed and 250, 000 residences damaged or ruined severely. Several places like settlement regions, landmark buildings, presidential Palace, Port-au-Prince Cathedral, the National Assembly building and the main jail were destroyed causing the lives of many people who were there during the earthquake. Haiti people who were mostly affected of such a chaotic earthquake appealed for help, humanitarian help, foods, clothing, medical assistance, support personnel and engineers from different countries all over the world and the positive response made many Haiti men survive after the earthquake attack. Rescue operation were intensified which some Haiti people trapped in the building or other areas within several or few days, week or weeks still cope with their survival and the rescue men found then and bring safety help to assist and cure them. Workers, who volunteer to give their help, experienced the harsh and angry moved of Haiti people who get mad on the delayed aid and resulted to loot or extreme lack of control resulting to violence.

While Chile ravaged when an earthquake hit the place on February 27 which considered as the 5th strongest earthquake occurred long before 1900. It triggered the damaged the land properties and caused the life of 800 people in the region and due to the great impact of such earthquake, there was a raise of tsunami alert for the entire countries worldwide for those which belongs to the Pacific Rim of Fire. This Chilean earthquake happened at the center of Chile in a magnitude 0f 8.8 shaking for 3 min. ranking it 6th biggest earthquake recorded through seismograph. USGS pronounced that this is the strongest destructive (VII) earthquake the cities experienced using the intensity scale of Mercalli while based on Cocepciôn revealed it’s violent on MM VII. The earthquake made the tsunami existed and damaged many coastal places, thus 53 countries were alerted for the preparation of tsunami event. The hit of earthquake caused the blackout affecting almost 93% of the country people for many days in several locations. The official report of the government stated that there were 525 people died on such catastrophic event with 525 missing as well as 9% of the entire population become homeless. March 10, the Swiss Reinsurance Corporation approximated the damaged cost 4 to 7 billion dollars. The economy of Chile lost US$15 to 30 billion.

April 14 of Yushu in Northwestern part of Qinghai Province o of China suffered in a 7.1 magnitude of an earthquake killing 2, 200 persons and leaving homeless people who are 100, 000 in number. Around 90% of the houses in the most hit region ruined and collapsed. Many people suffered in food shortage and traumatized which provision of humanitarian aid and shelters become of the biggest priority o aid the chaotic situation of the people.

The great earthquake in Sumatra, Indonesia with a 7.7 magnitude end the life of 435 people in October 25 and left more than 110 missing. It happened in on the same fault of 2004 Ocean earthquake in India. It further resulted to the tsunami with 9 feet tall or 3 meters sweeping 1800 feet or 600 meters inland that struck Mentawi Islands. The ill effect of the earthquake was followed up with rescue operations and relief goods to help the affected people of Sumatra. Rescuers and other volunteer groups only find it hard to make quick access in remote places due to bad weather condition.

In Turkey, the earthquake magnitude of 6.1 struck in eastern portion of Elazığ city with 58 death toll and 100 people injured after the event is over on March 8, the day the quake shoot the place. The bad event happened 1 week after the detail report of Turkish Chamber from Civil Engineers stating that there is no enough building projects and Istanbul might experience an earthquake that can kill 10, 000 persons for the next 30 years. Yet the latest earthquake existed in East Anatolian Fault, a main form fault representing the limit between the Arabian Plate and the Anatolian Plate. The records on such terrifying temblor showed that most casualties came from 3 villages which are Kayalı,Yukarı Kanatlı and Okçular. Most villagers then, went outside the buidings and just lighted fires to keep them warm in the streets. The 4 government ministers went to visit the place while the Disaster management Centre of Turkey and Red Crescent give some tents and blankets to the victims. Ehud Barak, Defense Minister of Turkey ordered for the whole aid proposal while Yousaf Raza Gillani Prime Minister, gave his condolence message.

It is not only the place in Turkey that endured the harsh experience of Earthquake, also in Papua which is a place in Indonesia hit with a 7.0 magnitude of temblor on 16th of June. This place in Indonesia has a part that consisted of complex tectonics. The earthquake destroyed villages such as Randawaya, Aiyari, Karowaiti, Hamtimoi, Waridoni, Waita, Wabudayar, Larelahiti and Tare, which are nine in total with 17 persons who lost their lives, over 2, 500 houses were ruined with great felt of intensities above VII using Mercalli Scale on Serui of Island of Yapen and on the nearby coast and VI on the Biak Island. Several buidings were severely destroyed in Island of Yapen.

Furthermore, earthquake also terrified the Baja California in Mexico when a magnitude of 7.2 quake attacks on April 4 killing only 2 persons but the damaged is hard to accept as it even reached its tremors in Nevada. This Easter earthquake began in 16 mi of south Guadalupe Victoria in Baja California with a depth of 6.2 mi. It happened in the Pacific daylight time 3:40:41p.m. on Eastern Sunday, 4th of April lasting for a minute and half. This is the greatest earthquake in Alberto Oviedo Mota ejido, in the Mexicali municipality using Mercalli scale intensity VIII that is severe. Guadalupe Victoria and Mexicali, Calexicoit is VII which is Very Strong, however in Ensenada as well as Tijuana experienced VI recognized as Strong. Great damages of earthquake occurred in Calexico and Mexical twin cities on the border of Mexico –United States. Four people died and there were 100 injured. The quake experienced in Western United States and in most zones in Southern as well as Northwest Mexico and it was the strongest earthquake rock the Southern California. Each earthquake has similar magnitude in a largest part of North America. It noted that the quake started in Laguna Salada Fault 37 mi to 50 mi in length straddling the Californian Baja border. Actually, such fault ruptured with 7.2 magnitude of earthquake last February 1892 and it becomes no wonder when it triggered another earthquake again in 2010 destroying lives and properties of the people.

In addition to 2010 occurrence of great earthquake is the 6.4 magnitude of earthquake hit the southern city of Kaohsiung, Taiwan on March 4, which results to 90 injured people with lesser damage. The temblor occurred 25 mi starting from the T'ai-tung, Taiwan. No injured people reported but the buildings swayed off on a great distance of far north in Taipei Capital causing some power loss and other damages. TVBS reported that island rail service suspended on high speed level. It measures 5.0 based on Richter Scale off Hualien County of Taiwan on 12th of October.

Much to the fear of people in New Zealand when, a magnitude of 7.1 rocked Christchurch, the 2nd largest city with 2 injured persons and many great damages resulted to collapsed of buildings and properties on the 4th day of September. One person died in the temblor attack and there the mass fatalities are become of great problem due to unfinished houses or lack of strong foundation of its construction. The epicentre of the quake is 25 mi on west Christchurch close to the town of Darfield. Shallow hypocenter found in 10 km deep. The approximate5.8 magnitude became the result of aftershock which felt for 5 sec in the foremost quake, reported as strong aftershocks. The first quake lasts for 40 seconds and it crossed the South Island as well as the North Island in a distance of New Plymouth. It started from the epicentre on land distance from a coast and there was no tsunami that arises.

There was a fast activation of the National Crisis Management Centre in the cellar of Wellington Beehive. Also, Civil Defence announced the Christchurch state of emergency, the Waimakariri District, and the Selwyn District however, Timaru, Waimakariri, and the Selwyn District, initiated their centers for emergency operation. At first, there was a curfew made for several portions of the Central City of Christchurch starting from 7:00 in the evening to 7:00 in the morning in connection to the earthquake. The Army in New Zealand deployed in the affected parts of Canterbury. The aftershocks go on until 2011 triggering some obvious damages on the place. The strongest aftershock happened in the 22nd of February 2011 that experienced in approximate 6.3 magnitude and people from Invercargill to Wellington felt its occurrence. There were 181 persons contributed to the death toll. The cost of damages caused of the earthquake is between $2.75 - $3.5 billion NZD.

On the other hand, the Ryukyu Islands, Okinawa of the southern parts of Japan felt a magnitude of 7.0 on February 27 and a great Pacific tsunami came immediately after the hit of an earthquake which residents on the place panic to go in the community centers after the strong quake in offshore caused the tsunami alert yet the 7.4 temblor magnitude only made some mild large waves in Tokyo.

No reports of urgent damages from the earthquake that struck on its local time at around 2:20 in the morning about 130 km off the Chichi Island in the southern coast of Pacific Ocean which the earthquake was just felt far away from the Tokyo. Kenji Komura, the principal of High School in Chichi Island stated that there was a shook quite violent and everyone was scared.

The Meteorogical Agency of Japan put an alert for a tsunami that can reach to 2 m in Chichi as well as on its close islands while there was also a warning of mild tsunami on southern coast of Japan’s mainland. Yet it was soon lifted when there was only 30 cm minor wave observed in the shorelines of Chichi after 40 min of earthquake. Yet, prior on the lift of the tsunami alert, score of people from Chichi, Tokyo and close to Haha Islands flocked in the community centers as well as on the school buidings. Tomoo Tamawaki, stated that for go, tsunami alert was announced to protect the people from the harmful tsunami.

Although Japan is one of the world’s most prone countries in earthquake, still many Japanese people are afraid of the quake frequent attacks that caused the significant damages and death of some people. Of course, it’s not only Japanese people who are fearful of life-threatening earthquake but many individuals around the world surely have great fears knowing the capability of earthquake along with other disasters that can put an end to human’s life and ruin the earth.

Supervolcano: How great is the yellow stone caldera explosion?

The Yellow Caldera is the volcanic caldera found in Yellowstone National Park in the country of United States which sometimes refers as Yellowstone Supervolcano. The caldera is on the northwest Wyoming with vast majority of park it contained in major features of Caldera measuring 55 kilometers by 72 kilometers.

Yellowstone found over the hot spot where hot molten magma in the mantle rises on the surface. Now, Yellowstone hotspot is under Yellowstone Plateau. The hotspot apparent motion led to the east to northeast direction and the North American Plate is in actual moving on the west to southwest stationary Earth’s mantle hotspot. This Yellowstone hotspot before helped the Snake River Plain eastern part in the series of great volcanic eruptions. In the past 17 million years, the hotspot generated succession of dangerous eruptions as well as less dangerous basaltic lava floods. Both eruptions helped created the eastern part of Snake River Plain with dozen of such eruptions happened the super eruptions that ruined the places affected. The oldest caldera remnant identified close to the border of McDermitt Nevada-Oregon withvolcanistic piles as well as arcuate faults defining caldera complexes in 37 mi in Carmacks Group diameter of southwest to central of Yukon, Canada that shown as the source of Yellowstone hotspot formation. There is a progressive new remnant of caldera overlap the volcanic fields extending on Nevada to Oregon border through the Snake River Plain whichterminate only in Yellowstone Plateau.

Yellowsyone caldera is widely known as the largest system of volcanoes. This is also famously called as supervolcanodue its caldera which is can make large forms of explosion proven in the past. The present caldera originated from the cataclysmic eruption which happened 640, 000 years in the past with 240 mi3 or 1, 000 km3 composed of rocks, ashes and other pyroclastic materials. The eruption it produced and is capable of more than 1, 000 larger than the eruption and damage of Mount St. Helens way back on 1980. Closely two-thirds of a mile deep with 28 miles by 52 miles in the place which the deposited Lava creek Tuff that the formation of welded tuff. This supervolcano spread its deadliest explosion 2.1 million years in the past that ruined 588 miles3 or 2450 km3 with its volcanic material creating formations of rock which are Tuff of Huckleberry Ridge Tuff resulted to the creation of Island Park Caldera. This world super volcano found in United States made its small eruption 1.2 million years previously that led to the formation of Henry’s Fork Caldera while it deposited the Tuff of Mesa Falls with the range of eruption 280 km³.

This greatest world supervolcano can spew lava farthest into the sky that its ashes can kill the plants dumping a 10 feet layer which can reach to 1, 000 miles distance. Once it will make its gigantic eruption again, two-thirds of the US place will tumble-down, no longer available for men and other living things in habitat. This is a big nightmare that many geologist and scientists predict once it erupts after 600, 000 years or in the years to come. It erupted millions of years in the past and it is also expected to erupt with the same or exceeding great power of eruption according to researchers who monitors the volcanic activity of this super volcano. The scientists reported that starting from 2004-2008, underneath of this giant volcanosituated in northwestern Wyoming rose with an average of 3 inch per year. The movement rate is more than three times bigger than its usual record since 1923. However, in 2008 the rate of movement slowed down significantly and US Geological Survey pronounced that there are no signs that it will make a great devastating eruption at Yellowstone. The recurrence intervals that shows predictable and regular movement as well as lack of data is keeping the geologists an idea with no accurate date for the eruption of such supervolcano without any good warning too for the US people thus it poses fear to everyone living there.

If the eruption will happen, it can then dwarf the efficacy of Eyjafjallajökull volcano of the Iceland that erupted last April making a chaos travel all over the world. The geophysics professor in the University of Utah who is Robert B. Smith said that such supervolcano has the biggest best evidence of crustal magma chamber is filling with molten rock yet there is no concrete basis for an idea to know the length of this process before it is good to tell if there is an eruption or inflow of molten rock, then the caldera will deflates again. This supervolcano in US also famously called as “cooking pot” atop the largest volcanic field of North America. The latest blast from Caldera is approximately 640, 000 years ago and the most recent small eruption while small eruption transpired 70, 000 years previously. The estimated area of ashfall from Yellowstone Caldera’s largest eruption proved that there is a shallow magma in the shallower depths. Dan Dzurisin, Yellowstone expert Geologist in US Geological Survey located in Cascades Volcano Observation said that “clearly some deep source of magma Yellowstone and since the Yellowstone erupted in the recent geological past; we know that there is magma at shallower depths too.”
There is an observational monitoring in the Washington State as there are evidences that in the crust there is an arising of magma on such place recorded each time duration and there is large amount of heat coming from the Yellowstone right now which results to so much heat coming out that if it wasn’t being reheated by magma, the entire system might have turn into a stone cold since the its last eruption which was 70 thousand years ago. There is actually a big controversial on the source of the Yellowstone hotspot especially that some geoscientists theorize that the Yellowstone hotspot is the effect of interaction in the place conditions of lithosphere and convection of upper mantle while others tell it is the deep mantle origin. It becomes part of the controversy as this hotspot came with sudden appearance based on geologic record. Moreover, flows of Columbia Basalt appeared at the very same time with the hotspot.

Much to the fear of many people in US and around the globe is the anticipated eruption of this Yellow Caldera being thesupervolcano which for sure will make a great impact globally.

The Greatest World Deadliest Tsunamis

Devastation of tsunamis is a very terrifying scene that makes a real impression of chaotic state when strike any place around the globe. Usually it is the movement of earthquakes that intensifies the occurnce of big waves and makes an immense seismic disruption in ocean, Coastal dwellers and ocean vessels from any time experience the danger which leas to injuries and casualties. Many buidings, homes and other properties are often subject to the great destruction of the tsunamis. People became the first and the most affected inhabitant who suffer so much in the loss of their loveones. Some of them become hopeless and homeless due to such terrifying disaster that changed their lives.

March 11, 2011, A day that I will never forget. A day that also struck Japan because of a magnitude 8.9 earthquake followed by a tsunami.

In the last 5 decades, changes on the innovation of investigating, detecting, and recoding of tsunami becomes more comprehensive yet every time it strike, the destrucion it creates unstoppable water tht sweep away everything on its path, causing the damage and fatalities so shocking to expect. Looking back on Alaska earthquake and tsunami last March 27, 1964 that made it’s huge damage from an earthquake movement with 9.2 magnitude, significant earthquake in the Histoy of North America for being the most violent and for the changes it made on the geographic region especially with the places within Alaska which some of its land areas dropped up to the maximum of 8ft. Such event mark the mind of those who witness it, causing a great dilemma and making an imprint, why you need to know about earthquakes? It then results to a destructive tsunami that killed 23 people in Alaskan Village. The North western part of America became disrupted place along with the places in Hawaii and Japan which were also affected of such catastrophic event. Waves reached 100 ft. high with 27 ft. tsunami land in Alaska dropping up to 8 feet.

Moreover, Samoa earthquake and tsunami in 2009 made an imminent damaged Samoan Islands, swallowing the villages and created a wide destruction especially when the 8.1 magnitude results to the occurrence of the tsunami with 45 ft. in height which traveled on inland places resulting to 189 death toll. The casualties were lessened unlike on the event that happened on Haiti’s quake which is the sixth deadliest earthquake in history. This is due to the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center that alerts the people to evacuate on their homes going to a much safer high ground. Furthermore, Hokkaido earthquake and tsunami on 12th day of July 1993 surprised the people like the shocking facts of the first four months of earthquake struck. The earthquake event made a magnitude of 7.8 following the dangerous tsunami sweeping Okushiri, the small Island. Many giant waves appeared ranging up to 100 ft. in height. Those people suffering from such traumatic and deadly event, were almost hopeless as after the tsunami, water rushing like flash floods on those highly affected places, making the folks to make a big question, can flash floods become a tool for the power of nature to avenge on people? The catastrophe led to 250 deaths and Grave Island damaged which takes 10 years to recover. While Tumaco earthquake and tsunami in the morning of December 12, 1979 swept the six villages near the sea and wrecked Tumaco City with 95 people who got their injuries while 798 was the death toll. People of Tumaco were in the chaotic state comparing their scenario on single attack of deadliest tornado in US history. There are several coastal towns of Colombian coastal towns ruined with total of 259 persons killed with 95 missing and 798 people injured.

Can Flash floods become a tool for the power of nature to avenge on people?

Flash flood causes destruction that threatens the life of the people and ruin land properties like a single attack of deadliest Tornado in US history. This is a great power of the environment to revenge on human beings who are kept on destroying the forests converting fields and mountains to industrialized houses or buildings. During flash floods, rapid water overflowing that came from the rivers, ocean or sea, lakes and other bodies of water, which causes the land erosion, landslide and many other damages causing the loss on properties as well as life of some people. The only difference between a regular flood and a flash flood is the timescale which the regular flood easily subsides in less than six hours while flash flood rushes and exceeds more than such hours. Flash flooding occurs and causes the runoff of large volume of water in low areas, rapidly rushing down the hills. Areas close with volcanoes may also experience the flash floods after the volcanic eruption. You might ask in comparison through asking Is super volcano a fearful threat for the destruction of the earth and humanity?” Also, it may happen when the glaciers melt down during too much global warming or hot weather. This surge of water usually occurs in US mountain ranges along with the arid plains in southwestern part of America. Other human activities can trigger flash floods such as dams which suddenly destroyed with hydro-electricity, large quantities of water and causes damage in everything within its footpath.

Image from http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/tfx/hydro/FAW/fawmain.php?wfo=tfx

Frequent flash floods that exist in America lead the government’s National Weather Services to alert the people to evacuate and transfer in a safer place due to dangerous flash floods that drown and kill the people. Flash flood is not a simple disaster but due to its sudden water’s current and it’s rush nature, it never choose to kill and damage properties. More than 50% of the fatalities in US became the victim of such event. This incident usually happens when the people underestimate the flash flood’s ability, specifically the real capacity of flash floods to ruin their lives and properties. Others dare to cross the prohibited section of flooded areas which many people had injury while others died during the strong rush of water. The report of National Weather Service on 2005 with an aid of the data in an average of 30 years national record revealed that many people died annually due to flash floods or regular floods with an average of 127, while lightning got 73, tornadoes is 65 and hurricanes has 16.

Flash flood events in desert is very dangerous and deadly since storms seldom visited arid regions and when it happens enormous volumes of water can blast over a short span of time yet causing runoff rivers or rushing water from high region going to low lands and water is hard to stop because the rains due to such storm fall on land with poor water absorption, often its texture is like a clay and it can’t help speed up the water to lessen, thus waters continue to move on any low parts of the areas, causing many places suffer from high water level, damaging the place itself, and other things along its path. Strom drains, retention basins worsen the scenario and properties of people are also ruined along with injured and dead people. Desert roads are always crossing the rivers during dry season but when storm strikes it affects so much the transportation and life of the people living on such place. Finally, irregular down pour of rain on water channels which takes the large amount of water causing the desert people to suffer from deserts debris composed of logs, mud clay and rocks. This is how great the power of nature far more to destroy the humanity when it avenge like the things happened when the sixth deadliest earthquake in history when claims its rule to remind the people on their evil activities.

A Single Attack of Deadliest Tornado in US History

Tornadoes are dangerous column of air rotation which affects the earth surface damaging quite similar to earthquakes and the cumulonimbus cloud or tin some instances a cumulus cloud. Some countries like the United States always experience the tornadoes and suffer from the damage and death toll. Tornadoes are sometimes called cyclone or twister. Tornadoes can appear in many sizes and shapes which are typically visible in form of funnel which have narrow touches on the surface of the earth and usually the cloud like dust and debris encircle it. Typically, tornadoes can take less than 110 miles/hour or 177 km/hour which is about 250 feet or 80 meters across and it can cause damages or death while moving around before it dissipates. Extreme tornadoes can reach the speed greater than 480 km/hour or 300 mph, that stretches more than 3 kilometers across and it is also capable of staying on the ground for dozens of more than 100 km. Several types of tornadoes are watersprout, multiple vortex and landsprout tornado.

Tri-State Tornado on March 18, 1925 with 695 death toll which is twice deadliest than the second tornado on 1840 known as Great Natchez Tornado. The long time continuous track of > 352 km or > 219 mile which became the longest time duration of tornado existed in history

In US history, the deadliest tornado was the Tri-State Tornado on March 18, 1925 with 695 death toll which is twice deadliest than the second tornado on 1840 known as Great Natchez Tornado. The long time continuous track of > 352 km or > 219 mile which became the longest time duration of tornado existed in history seems like the shocking facts of the first four months of earthquake struck. It affected places of Missouri, through crossing the Southern Illinois. At the time the tornado cross the Mississippi River going into the Southern Illinios, it hit the town of Gorham and destroyed the entire town with 34 people killed during the devastation. Its speed is 62 miles/hour going to Murphysboro, Hurst-Bush, De Soto as well as West Frankfort. It also afflicted some parts of Maunie, Eighteen and Zeigler. In 40 minutes movement and destruction of tornado, 541 were killed; the place was entirely damaged with 1, 423 who were seriously injured. Parrish village was totally destroyed killing 22 persons while in Murphysboro, 234 people died. The tornado went to Hamilton and in the White Counties damaging 65 more houses. On the other hand, there were about 613 people killed. Then, it goes along the southwestern portion of Indiana. The tornado crossed the Wabash River and reached Indiana. It nearly ruin the whole Griffin, devastating some rural areas that made an impact on Owensville, then damage more in Princeton. The tornado became more aggressive that it traveled ten times greater 16 km to the northeast and it dissipated after travelling around 3 miles in the southwest Petersburg. It caused the life of 71 people. Many recognized it as F5 tornado that caused the severe damage on maximum rating damage issued on Fujita scale.

Actually, such tornado is a larger part of tornado outbreak on that exactly same day which happened in Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Kansas and Indiana. It matches the sixth deadliest earthquake in history the total tornadoes that happened on that day resulted to 747 people who were killed and more than 3, 000 were injured, thus it became the deadliest tornado outbreak which also labeled as the US deadliest tornadic day. It just happened in a single tornado attack marking a sad history of US.

It is hard to ascertain if the tornado is one or it composes a series of tornadoes or tornado family just like a question in your mind "Is a super volcano a fearful threat for the destruction of the earth and humanity?" The theory of tornadoes and the supercell morphology give makes the tornado improbable. Research and scientific studies about tornadoes characteristics are further involve in the studies and research to determine its innate capacities and sudden changes, to pre-end some untoward accidents and other damages avoiding the ill effect of it. s some kind of explanation on the duration.

Is a Super Volcano a fearful threat for the destruction of the earth and humanity?

A volcano is a rupture or an opening in the surface of the earth that allows the ashes of the volcanoes, magma and other gaseous element to get away from the innermost surface or below it. Whenever there are tectonic plates which converge or diverge, volcanoes are also present. Volcanic eruption starts when the magma rises due to magma chamber that causes magma to move up in conduit and goes out on its vents. The type of volcanic eruption depends on the obstacles that influence it. Classification of volcanic activity affects how often the eruption occurs. Volcanoes which are active often erupts while dormant volcanoes are asleep which in due time will erupt and are very dangerous too, actually it’s more dangerous because sometimes the eruption is unpredictable. Volcanoes are very powerful which is why you need to know about earthquakes as it can also trigger the temblor especially the super volcano.

Krakatoa is a volcano located in the Sunda Strait (between the island of Java and Sumatra) indonesia. The volcano is very famous in the world because of the eruptions in 1883 referred to as one of the most devastating volcanic eruption of all time.

Historical examples of eruptions of volcanoes are Krakatoa, Mt. Vesuvius and the recent eruption of Mount St. Helens but these are meager amount compared to the shocking facts of the first four months of earthquake struck and a super volcano eruption. The super volcano eruption is powerful ejecta which is more than 240 cubic miles which is thousands times bigger than any volcanic eruption in history. The super volcanoes may happen to erupt when the magma rises from the hotspot going to the crust. The pressure becomes greater until it forms a magma pool, then it will erupt when the crust can no longer hold the pressure. Super volcanoes may form from the convergent plate boundaries like the Toba and the hotspot found in the continent like the Yellowstone.

The six identified super volcanoes are Long Valley, Valles Caldera and Yellowstone, in US; North Sumatra, Lake Toba in Indonesia; North Island Taupo Volcano in New Zealand and the Kyūshū, Japan’s Aira Caldera in Kagoshima Prefecture also remind us of the sixth deadliest earthquake in history. The typical eruption of any of these super volcanoes can create a huge devastation while covering the place with volcanic ashes and lava as well as making great and long change in the weather just like the shortened ice age. Also, the super volcanic activity can threat the species extinction.

At present, these are not active in nature as they stay dormant. This is a great advantage for the people living near or in the locations of these active volcanoes but it creates a fear on the hearts and minds of the people for they know the great devastation is somewhat unpredictable. The powerful eruption when happen can easily die down the released energy of the biggest part of western nation’s nuclear weapon arsenal. Like the Krakatoa eruption, it can greatly drop the Earth’s temperature. One least event which was a proof of this was when after the Krakatoa eruption ending creating a whole year with no summer, the main cause of the Northern Hemisphere’s famine. People further fear for the super volcanic activity of the Yellowstone Caldera in 2012 prediction.

A great significance of the last time’s supervolcanic eruption was in Toba, Sumatra that was about 71, 000 years way back. It resulted to the blotted rays of the sun and nearly close to the human beings extinction which luckily there are still 5, 00 people became the survivors who propagate the human race after such a great destruction on earth.
